Air and Space Exhibitions at the Smithsonian

We all were looking forward to it. No we spend a day at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. That was really great - the Spirit of St.Louis or Space Ship One are indeed very impressing. Check it out.

The NASA X-15 flew 108km high (in the 60's!)- see pictures below. Really cool aircraft:
